Hey guys, just picked up a .357 Supermag. My question is, can I mount a 15-2 .357 barrel/shroud onto this beast? I'm assuming the Supermag is a large frame from looking on the forum? Maybe someone could shed some light on the barrel/shroud differences on the small to large frame revolvers for me.

Won't work. As you noted, the Supermag frames are much bigger than the small frames, the barrel tube is also much larger and won't fit the shroud. Also, the ejector rod on the Supermags is longer thn those on even the large frame guns so you can't use a large frame shroud either. You can use another Supermag shroud on your 357 SM. There is a thread running showing the differences in size between the two.

Man, I have sure had a few occasions to whip out these two pictures recently.
If you squint real hard, you can see the difference between the two.

ChargerFan! Pictures are worth a thousand words......It's all so clear now.
I'm looking to pick up a 6" barrel for the Supermag, looks like it may be a little difficult to score a Supermag shroud/barrel combination?
I guess I'll just have to pickup a 6" .357 Magnum Revolver to add to the collection and call it good!
