First one I've ever seen. Wondering who else has one or has info on them. DW Norwich First Issue IDPA 744. 5 inch, bright polished, unfluted cylinder. Luckily it had a BIN, I beat Ole Dog to this one before he could sniff it out!!!

Wow that is pretty cool. I shoot IDPA and I don’t know anyone competing with a beefy 44 mag revolver 😂
Of course you can shoot 44 spl for less recoil but damn.
This must have been back in the days when you could request custom serial numbers maybe?

Spoke to the shop that I bought it from today. The guy said he heard only 35 of these were made, but he cant confirm. Wish I could find some info!

I might be the only odd duck shooting IDPA with a Dan Wesson 744 4" Moon Clipped revolver. I use 44 specials for the shorter cases.
