Why didn't anyone tell me how good the Dan Wesson 44MAG revolvers were?  😉

Finally managed to hit the range with my new to me 6" ported Monson 44 and WOW!  What a sweet, sweet wheel gun.

Shooting my plinking loads was really, really nice and it even handled hot 180gr loads with style.

It fits my mitts like it a glove, handles like a dream and is accurate a heck!  Have to say, out of all the 44's I own and have shot, this one beats them all.

Needless to say I'm impressed and now need to keep my eyes out for another DW 44MAG, hopefully in SS.

Page...,

If DW ever starts producing revolvers again, you may have just written a great testimonial for a sales brochure..

Glad you liked the Dan, they sure are a dream to shoot.

Big Grin
I see a case of DWAS beginning.  Welcome to the club, so to speak.  I'm glad you have discovered what great shooters Dan's are.

We're trying to keep it a secret so the prices don't go up!  However I don't think we're doing a very good job of it.

Glad you enjoyed your 44.  My 744 with the VH4 barrel and shroud installed is one of my favorite guns to shoot.

Well I'm gonna have to tone down my new found love for the DW wheel-guns.

No need to drive up the prices if you know what I mean Wink

Now if only I could find a SuperMag 445, now that would be icing on the cake!

Only problem is me being in Canada, getting a handgun in from the states is not the easiest thing to do Frown

And to add insult to injury, it usually adds quite a few bucks to the price.
