Hi guys,
had to travel to MElbourne on Monday, and dropped into a firearms store chasing spare barrels for my 15-2.
Discovered a Pork chop 357 Mag, 4" blued - heaps of cylinder movement - with trigger held right back in lockup, it rotated a good 1/8" clockwise and anticlockwise, could be moved forward and backwards about 1/16" again quite easily.
With the crane open, the entire crane cylinder assembly could be twisted and moved in all directions.
Was very well worn, showed heaps of scrapes around the cylinder from rotation etc.
Despite wanting to take it home, I decided to leave it there - is this kind of wear easily repairable through replacement parts or should I it where it is - in the gunshop

Thanks Jody,
good advice I reckon. The more I thought about it the less I needed the aggravation. Beyond repair I suspect.
Asking price was $450 Australain dollars. Can purchase in Australia but must comply with requirements in order to purchase. Will put in a topic one day about the whole exercise here in Australia when I get the time.
thanks
