I'm just curious.... My 15-2v seems to have cylinders that allow the cartridges to "slip" back, thus kind of momentarily jamming the cylinder. Of course if I hold the gun, barrel pointed to the ground and raise it to shoot this does not happen. However if I allow or point the barrel skyward for any reason, a few of the cartridges mayl fall back against the frame. I'm wondering if this is common or a concern?
I am using Winchester nickleplated brass fyi.

I do not know that I would be convinced your cylinders are oversized. Try some brass cases. There was a thread going on here about nickel. Nickel is known to slide better as you are describing and has lent itself to popularity in speedloading for that very reason. In my smith 586 if i tilt the muzzle up I can get the cases to shake back too. I have never had a rotation problem however. Can't say I had the issue in any Dan. See how the brass cases act first.
A man cannot have too many SuperMags
Report:
1. I don't believe the cylinder was relieved for moon-clips. (they're all recessed, no?)
2. Supermagfan, looks like you hit the nail on the head.... I used once-fired Magtech brass and did not have the problemat all! Not only that, I shot 8/12 in 1.5" from 10 yrds out. (the other 4 weren't far off 😉 I'm a happy camper
