welcometo the dwf-sign. Yes all small frame shrouds should interchange except for the pork-chop models. Barrels are caliber specific for obvious reasons.

thanks for the info, much appreciated.  i have a set of bomar front hooded sight and rear sight for the dan.  i used to shoot silh until i had to quit because of an eye problem. i also had a 360 dw 8"hw ss and 10" vss with bomar sights that was really good out to 200 with 200 gr lead head loads. but if i had known about the forum i sure could have given someone a good deal when i got rid of it for a mere pittance, when i owne it it is not worth any thing but when they own it, it is a collector item. here in ind near valporaiso we have a silhouette range where you can shoot a reduced course out to 100 yds with pistol. also to 200 yds with regular bigbore pistol. so a 3220 dw would be pretty slick. i use the 10" dw22 for rim fire silh, and plan on the 357 with 38+p158 in a dw 357 6" and a 8" ewk with a 22lr shroud in 357. which i had drilled from dw back in 2002. i tried to sell the 22 for about 3 years but no one was interested so i took it out and got it to shoot pretty good at 25 yds with cci sw with irons it would go into about under 1/2" off a soft rest. well thanks again for the info.  steve b

Welcome!

As to the fit of the 22 shroud and a .357 barrel ( EWK or not): yes that should work fine on the 15-2.  Note that is not the same as the 360. However ( and hopefully someone will know) I might be concerned if the 22 has the bomar sight and hooded blade. mating that to a 15-2 with the standard sight might not work right as the bomar is "up" above the standard sight.

Sounds like you have gotten to play with some REALLY nice DW's... Hey we love pics!

in that order.

One other thing on the 22 of yours, does it have 2 alignment pins for the shroud?  I hear some of these and the SM did have.  If it does you could remove the top pin so as to mount the standard or EWK shrouds.

Oh and so you know we love cool-pics!

Thanks one and all all the info is sounding good that what i have will work,so

i just got off the ewk sight to order a 8" barrel 357 to go on the 357 i have coming. is the ewk barrel as good as the  stock dan barrel or better.

i had the bomar rear sight and compatible front sight adapted at the dw factory

and it worked just fine, the shroud had to have a extra hole drilled and tapped in the 10" shroud in order for it to be mounted on the barrel. but it worked fine. right now i preffer the open front and stock millett target rear and front partridge blade to give me the crispest sight picture. There is only one barrel length left to get and that is the 4 in v set up.     Steve B

p.s. to the guy who wants to convert to 38 super you can but you won't

like it. i did this about 25 years ago to a ruger 4in security six and had ranch

prod full moon clips and cylinder modified for them and found that brass that

comes out of an automatic expands too much to be resized with ordinary

dies to fit in a 357 cylinder. i found some brands of new factory ammo would not chamber in the factory cylinder! now i dont know if things are different now day but i wish i had a new cylinder to put it back to 357 as i found no real advantage in the 38 super conversion. you can get in touch with clark custom guns and they might be able to modify your 357 to chamber 357 and 38 with full moon clips, as i sent them a j frame 357 and a L frame 357 and they made the conversions and they worked just nifty, the j frame was the most improved. as to a quick ejection with the full moon clip you just grab the empty rounds and throw them down and reload with 130 gr round nose .jacketed for a almost flawless reload and on the j frame this is something.

as i am trusting my welfare and continued good health on this combination.
