I just noticed that the Dan Wesson parts price list available from this forum list patridge front sight blades. I thought they were partridge but what do I know. Does anyone have a picture of one of these or personal experience. I would like to try something a little more precise than the stock blade. Thanks

They are called patridge blades, many folks call them like the bird, partridge. This is one on a 722-VH10. They came in several heights.

Thanks for the quick reply but I can't see the picture, I just get a blank with a red X in the corner.

Shows up OK in Explorer for me. That sight blade is what shipped with the barrel/shroud I bought from CZ, and is also what was on my Pointman (with a white dot). It is a nice front sight, maybe a very nice option would be a gold bead front as well.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Does anyone have a source for the Partridge sights?  I have one on my model 44, and would love to get some for my 715.  (I've never liked ramped sights)

Check Dan Wesson/CZ, but call their parts number as they have alot of parts that they don't list
