Hi,

I have been trying to find a mounting system for my model 15-2. I was wondering if its possible to get an uncut picatinny rail then use the from sight hold and rear to secure the rail in place. I would have to cut it to size but i would want it to go all the way across the top.

Do you guys think this will work? If not where can I get a mount nowadays, ive looked everywhere?

I also found a clamp on mount that fits a Taurus 66. Will this fit a model 15-2?

Can you post a picture or link to the item that fits a Taurus 66?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I am going to ssay no. It would be better to get a rail that can be cut to.size and have it fit to.your shroud. This is what I was going to do but found a great deal on some rings so that's the way I went.

I didn't see anything on the ewk site. I keep checking and when something comes up i will buy one. Does he make product by request also or do i just have to wait till theyre available?

Michael, give Eric a call. He is great to work with, and he will do custom/one off work for you as best and quickly as he can. No one that he has done specialty work for has ever been less than thrilled with the end result.

Actually, there is no phone number, but email him. He is a busy guy, DW work is not his "bread and butter" but more of a labor of love. He will get back to you, and tell you what he can do, and how soon.

It will be worth the wait, I promise

man those look nice. I really like that first pic, it looks really low profile and not bulky on top. Thats more what im looking for.  Those EWK barrels look nice too i think they make the DW look more rugid. nice pics!
