At the gun show yesterday, I picked up some Dan Wesson "stuff".

First I got this bag of .445 Supermag Starline new brass for $20 (100 cases).  Seemed like a great deal in case I get a .445 (and I am looking).

Then I got these two set of grips for $10 each.  Decent "used" condition with some chips and dings.  The smooth stocks have the round tang hole for Large Frame guns and the checkered one have the square tang hold for Small Frame guns.  My .357 already has similar stocks on it, but my .44 has only a Hogue rubber grip, so the smooth ones have a home planned already.  Can someone tell me the approximate vintage for these?

And finally I picked up the stock of old DW branded .445 Supermag ammo that I mentioned in a previous post (any I do decided to sell will be offered later in the classifieds, so please don't ask me now as this is NOT a "for sale" ad).

Wow! You must have a DW aficionado at that show, I never see any DW stuff at the few I go to.

Bonanza!! The smooth large frame grip could be any year of Monson. Palmer had gold plastic medallions. The DWA grip is probably from 1976 to 78.

Wow!  $10 a pair for those grips???  I'm surprised they weren't more like $75.

I'd be more than happy to stand in line for DW grips in worse shape than those, at $20 a pair!

Regards,

Jim
