Gorgeous gun. You can't use html to post pics in the body of your message. Goto photobucket and get the url of the pic (OK, you already know it). then click on the tree in the menu bar and enter the url. Be sure to reduce the size for posting and the reader will be able to see the full size image by clicking on it. Here's an example (your gun pic):

glenncal- with all due respect to the great guys and friends here that own every caliber/model/style of DW, the 15-2 is the essence of Dan Wesson. You have a beauty there, and having a sweet Dan Wesson 15-2 is about as good a shooter as you will ever find.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Shot the gun today and I can say is:
SSSUUUWWWEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTT
What a nice piece, put 50 .38s and 50 .357s through it. It soks up recoil like a dream and has a great trigger especially SA. I bought a walnut traget stock for it and even with the .357s recoil wasn't a problem. I switched to the Pachmyr's when I switched over to the 2.5 and normally I don't like magnums from a short barrel but this wasn't bad at all. Time for a beverage

If you can pick up a Pachmayr Gripper for use with the 2 1/2" you wont be sorry. The Hogue combat grip is OK, but the Gripper is PERFECT (unfortunately, no longer made, so you need to watch the auctions, or the junk box at your local shop)

Unlike Steve, I hate the Pachmayr Gripper. Different strokes… I have one that you can have for free. There is a small tear in one side near the top which does not affect how it works or feels in any way.
Just let me know where to send it.
BTW, ypu really oughta get a zebra wood grip for that thing. The zebra wood grips are sooooooooooooooooo gorgeous. JMO.

That is a beautiful gun, nice score. Nothing like a 15-2…wish I had one myself.
When are you gonna quit wishin', and start gettin'?

You know, IHMSA...the only Model 15 that would truely fitting for you, would be one with little silhouettes on the shroud.

I found those pics on some other forum I was surfing through a while back. No idea who's it is, or if it's for sale, but it sure do look purty!

Hey Charger...I about had a stroke when I saw that 15. Thought it was yours until I read the post.
I have a friend in Wisconsin that owns one of those. It was offered to me by another person, but he wanted WAY too much, so I passed. Guess it was ok for my friend. He is also a steel shooter and just HAD to have one. I have first rights if he ever decides to sell it. Sure would be a nice one, and as you guys say, appropriate for me.
