So, when you go to the range, do you have a luggage rack on your vehicle?  poke

Very cool...like the blue cloth.

I still have enough frames/barrels/grips to build another Pac Laugh.  I'm going to start selling 15-2 PP's pretty soon... I just finished the DW22 Mini-Pac today--came out nice.

There's always a DW project going!

LOL... The guys who shoot with me know why i drive a truck Laugh.  I always get tagged with "there's the Arsenal guy"... I usually take a bunch of guns and let anybody shoot them that wants to.

I have a nice rolling "dolly" that I load up for range trips.  Also a rolling suitcase for ammo, spotting scope, tools, etc.  It is usually an all day adventure!

In a perfect world I would have a John Deere Gator with a enclosed bed I could drive down to the range laughing

I got some possible PP goodies today real cheap... the case is kind of different, but for 2 bucks I wasn't passing it up Laugh.  The material is a lightweight bedspread (so the wife says).  It was $2.50 and is REALLY close to the DW gold.

Looks like it's sorta tall...gonna take a few layers of foam to get that one right, but I kinda like the outside strap idea. The insides, though...Screwy

Ah-- I'll do it the "good ol boy" way and slap a few 2X4's in the bottom rofl.  It is a little taller than a standard pack, but the width is smaller also.  I'll find something to do with it--it just looks different.  I haven't cleaned it up yet, but I bit a little furniture polish fixes it iup.

Please tell me you're going to keep the fringe and work it into the Pack somehow Surprised

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

OK, here's what I did…mine is a Pistol Pac that holds 6 large-frame Dan Wessons. It was very easy to make.

If I had a 7 barrel setup, I would be in business...Look what I found today--the big cases are about 13 x 26.  The small case is just a tad bigger than a standard pack.  Brand new with the foam... I think these are from the late 70's.

Shoot,

My parents got me one of the small cases that you show in the picture above for Christmas around 1988 (give or take a year)...

I could use both of those big cases...very popular with the silhouette guys.

I made a case for Lil' Dan.Laugh

This is a 10½ x 9½ metal case that was originally meant as a foam-lined cigar storage case, it even came with a humidifier.lol2 Got it from eGouge for $12 shipped.

Please ignore my dirty/snowy driveway.Embarassed Cloudy day & this was the best light spot I found.

I needed to use up some more of my non-stretchy fabric, hence the creases. I decided this fabric works better in a larger case, with more room...oh well. Lil' Dan fits just right!Laugh  I know, I pamper my guns too much.Screwy

Hey... It's not DW gold Laugh... I love it--I think the blue goes well with the case and the SS...  I'm falling behind on the PP's--I have a few to get going.

CF,

Very nice. I have to make a case for my Lil Dan also. I like the blue with the stainless best of all.

I don't think there is a darn thing wrong with pampering something worth pampering. I think it adds to the gun itself!  I like the blue fabric I think it stands out really nice. Drool

Thanks, guys.Laugh

I like the blue & stainless combo too. Once I find the "right" case for my pair of Sevilles, I'll probably use this fabric for those, too.

Check this one out 🙂  You can't tell in the pics, but the case is actually a gold color (perfect for a "DW gold series" PP)... Really nice case, came with some foam inside, AND...has a special hidden compartment in the top foam--you pull the red tabs to access the back of the foam.  Probably a laptop case at one time.

Looks like a nice one, for sure. I like the "hidden area" in the top, something like that may not be a bad idea for storing DW owner's manuals & stuff. Hmmm...Wink
