Hello Forum.

I finally got back home and added the pictures that didn't go the first time.  Sorry for the mistake.

I have some pictures of a High Standard Sentineal Mark II that was made by DW.  I would like to know for sure what model it is and the style.   From what I have read on the forum it is a model 14-2 Service.   Would someone much more knoledgeable than I am help me out?

Thank you.

Steve

The HS  MKII is basically a model 14 internally since it's a pork chop gun with fixed sights.  .  The MKIII is a 15 internally since it has adjustable rear sights.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

If a man designed it, and a man built it, then a man can fix it.

There is a sub category informally called the 14-1. The original short hammer throw was lengthed and the sights were changed around serial number 25,000. The 14 and 15 became the non official dash ones. All HS are dash 1

Really nice looking MK ll. You will not be disappointed when you take this revolver to the range for the first time. These are great shooters.

I LOVE shooting DW revolvers.  I have several in 357, 41 and 44 mag.  They are by far the smoothest shooting of all the revolvers I have. My second favorite is my Rugers.  Or my S&Ws. Or my Colts.  I'm thinking now I should try a Kimber too... LOL
