Hey guys, I've got a model 14 or 14-1 (it's blued with fixed sights porkchop barrel) and extraction is kind of rough & hard even with light .38 special loads, after trying to clean the cylinders with a nylon bore brush I was wondering if I could polish the cylinder bores to ease extraction. My method of approach was to use mother's mag wheel polish & a .357 bore mop and run it through a hand drill to polish each of the individual bores in the cylinder.
Do you guys think this method is too extreme or even stupid, if so can you reccommend me some other techniques? I don't care about the finish inside the bores.
