This place has a good rep in the local shooting community, seems like a decent deal. I may be up the area this weekend if anyone wants an eyeball on it:

Interesting. This is the first I have seen or herd of ACE Hardware selling firearms. Though I think they are all independently owned.
Sort of like the combination liquor store and gun dealer in Uvalde, Texas.

There's a little storefront hardware store here in my town, center of Main Street that used to have a little counter with half a dozen long guns, and 2-3 S&W revolvers. haven't been in there in forever, don't know if they still have guns or not.
On a side note, yesterday on my day off I made the rounds of 6 gunshops in about 4 hours, one specializing in full auto, a Cabela's, my favorite DW shop that does mostly used and consignment stuff, 2 pretty big places dealing mostly in new guns, and my closest neighborhood shop.
All six combined, I'm guessing at 2500+ guns. The two big shops are the type with stacks of S&W, Sig, Glock, Ruger, etc boxes on the floor behind every counter.
Then there's mox-ct's favorite haunts about 30 min away.
Pretty lucky in that respect I guess.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
