This is my Model 15 with a 2.5" barrel installed. Also have the 4" and 6" barrels for it as well with the orginial soft case and tools.

The is another Model 15 I have. Picked this one up a couple of years ago LNIB. Added the Hogue grips.

Tom, trying my "memory" bank and with that number most likely in the first "years" production and and I'd have to 'guess' it was around 1977-78................it's been a long time for me and LOTS of "other" guns numbers running through my head.........I know the stainless models did NOT come out until AFTER the death of Mr Wesson, so we can look into that............all a process of elimination.........
nice looking picture by the way...... reminds me , I have to contact my friend Mr Uwe P. over there in Germany,been a while since we talked........ he was telling me all about his taking the "tests" to get their hunting and gun 'permits......
