Nice pictures - I particularly like that Super BlackHawk against the leather jacket, nice touch!  & never fired, Dang! & a Pistol Pac to be proud of!

Thanks, for the compliment!  I generally fail at making pics turn out looking like I want them to, but now & then I get one looking decent. LOL!Laugh I was sort of inspired by a revolver pic thread on the 1911 forum that I've been lurking on for a while, some of those guys take some really remarkable pics of their toys.

Photohause, thanks to you too. Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I breezed right past your posts on my initial pass though this thread today.

'New meaning' is right, I'd say that looks like a "build it how you want it" setup...sorta like a Burger King commercial. LOL!Laugh

That's my Monson model 40.  I used an old portable VCR case to make a pac.  It came with an 8" barrel only; the rest are Ebay finds, from when they still sold shrouds and barrel sets.

That's the Monson 357 Supermag??  I didn't realize that.

Treasure!!  It makes it that much more impressive that you were able to piece together such a nice set.  NOt to mention that what you have there wouldn't fit in a standard Pistol Pac valise.

That rare brass buckle BELONGS with that set!

My hat is tipped to you!

This is an attempt to load a photo. If it works this is my model 40.

Bruce, nice 40.  How long have you had it?  I've had mine since 1992 and shot alot of rounds through it.  I've got the same slotted shroud.

I only recently acquired the model 40. Ive been wanting one for 20 plus years but they are almost nonexistent in my area. I just started surfing the online auctions in the last year, and snagged this one a few months ago. She is a little loose and "plumb" tired but still stacks them in fairly tight groups. And yes with a little coaxing a Dan Wesson will even climb trees.  LOL

When I get more time I will post the rest of the family.

Camera working, clouds cleared.  Here are a couple pics of the “new” Nickel .22.

I learned very quickly that I won't be hanging with IHMSA80X80 any time soon, but his tips helped a bunch.  Might have to buy me a tripod…

Took Jody's suggestion on the Zebra grip (just happened to have one laying around).  Purty…

Dusty- That revolver is drop dead gorgeous. As much of a stainless slut I am, bright nickel makes me crazy, and the Zebra grip is perfect.

Steve

edit: that middle photo belongs in the "header slideshow"

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
