I agree, nice photo's

I've tried a couple times to get one of those cases, they just auction for more than I'm willing to pay, so far.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Pictures sent to me by a friend.

I would call this a Royal Flush - go ahead, eat your hearts out.  I am.

Wow!  These need to make it to the archive somehow.  That represents what DW was all about!  Very Nice.  Thanks for sharing these Dusty.  Your friend can be very proud of his accomplishment.

Yes, those are both model 15's!

Gents - I have a copy of the 1979 Shooter's Bible page that shows the Dan Wesson “concept” (for 1979), it doesn't look much different than those pics!!  Definately destined for the archive:

How cool is that? Cool

That is truely a beauty to behold.  Today the 12" and 15" barrels are such collectable items, that their prices at auction are astronomical, and as the commercial says; the sets together.....Priceless!!!  I actually got to fire a 15" barrel model 15 at a range in Fl. many years ago, the guy was trying to sell the barrel alone to buy another gun.  It was fun to shoot, but I didn't have the money at the time.

What a great collection!

I also have 2 15's but am not even close to this! I am curious if he has a grip and sight collection this complete? Never gave it much thought but it is also cool that the 2.5 comes V and HV. Wonder what that weight difference would be?

Very cool photos!  Now does anyone know if they made 12" and 15" barrels and shrouds in stainless?

Just call DW and ask, they might know. Heck they may still make them for a special order.

Well, I finally got my Palmer 44 fixed 4" home. The more I look it over, the more convinced I am that it was rarely fired, if at all. It is really clean. Sorry for the crappy pics - my camera isn't as good as most cell phones these days.

Brad NC - what a great find!  Pics are good enough to tell you got a beauty of a DW.

Never saw a shroud config like that - double underlug with an angled muzzle cut like a 2.5" V or Std. (non heavy) config.  I like the way it looks.

Drew, I think stainless revolvers always look fancy & that big boy looks great!Laugh

Dusty, your friend really has some killer sets, doesn't he? I wish those pics were a bit larger. Boy, the blued Pac virtually disappears in that black background...looks like a stealth Pac!Cool hehe

I think he's got the "DW Museum" there at his house.

For whatever reason I couldn't get the pics to post any larger.  I used the "large" conversion on Photobucket, but they came out the same size as medium on the Forum (yep, I did 'em both).

I'm open to suggestion and would like to post a larger picture - which I have - as well.

-->"Stealth Pac" - great phrase, I love it!!

I haven't actually used Photobucket's resizer, so I'm not much help in that regard. I usually resize by using the software that came with my camera.

If it's slow at work tomorrow, I'll see if I can figure out Photobucket's system & post back. Unless someone else beats me to it.Smile
