Just my two cents. Yes $800.00 sounds like a lot but ( there is always a but) 741's are semi rare and a second BA could bring $200.00 + by itself, so if it is in good shape that price may not be out of line. As I always say, If you want it, don't let a few dollars stand in your way unless you intend to flip it. The only gun purchases I have regretted are the ones I passed on. Others may have different opinions. You can always try and talk him down.

I believe LB is correct. If you can get it a bit lower- great but with 2 barrel assys, it's completely in line with current prices. If it's just a second barrel and not the shroud, then you may get it down a bit further.
Personally, I'd get it. If you want to trade for a blued 41, let me know. I have two...
