Hi all. What would be a reasonable (for both parties) sale price for my DW 715 VH (details below)? I know that they don't have a high resale value but it's been a while since I bought it and I'm looking for a ballpark figure; just to have an idea of what I should be looking for.
Thanks in advance for any info,
S.
Dan Wesson .357 Magnum model 15VH, blued. Monson made.
3 barrels and assemblies (2", 4" and 6"), barrel tool. Original DW gauge and 2 extra sights. In a gun case but it's is NOT the original DW case. Only one grip (the grooved "combat" type).
Overall excellent (near-new) condition and blueing. This gun has not been fired much (and not by me) but I'm not the first owner so I can't give a precise rounds number. The only outright sign of wear is the cylinder ring. Bought circa 2001 and stored since. I think that this came from a pistol pack from which the belt buckle, case and other grip(s) were lost along the way.

Hi all. Thanks for the welcomes and for the replies. I have a series of pics but I'm trying to figure out how to upload them.
Steve CT, it is a blued gun.
Shootist 357. It look like prices have remained somewhat stable, give or take $100.
As far as regretting selling it, I know it. In fact I waited until I sold all the others 🙂 But I'm moving overseas in a few months and I have no choice.
I'll look further into the pics upload and follow up...

OK, here we go:

I hope that this link will work, it's my first time on Photobucket.
All the pics save one were taken without a flash, and that's why the gun looks stainless steel. These pics give a good idea of the quality of the blueing. The one pic taken with a flash is more accurate color-wise. Photograph is not my forte, as you can tell 🙂

Your pak case is not the DW one that is sought after. Gun and BA's look good.
I'd say on a bad auction day $450-$500 , on a good day $650-$700 and
if the planet's are in alignment that day and you get two bidders throwing
like a vegas slot machine $850 to who knows how much.

Hi. Thanks for the info. So from this pricing and the one from Shootist357, it looks like around $500-550 would be at the low end and this makes it a bit higher than I thought.
My plan is to put it on GunBroker: I sold another revolver there with good success last year.

Here is a link to our serial number list which should help you date your revolver.
