All, I do not currently own a revolver but would like to. I was originally looking for a S&W 627. However, those seem to be rare, spendy, and potentially problematic due to strongly rumored problems at the custom shop.
I ran across an ad for a Dan Wesson that sounds like my cup of tea. I did some reading around at it sounds like DW hits my high points: accuracy, smooth action, reliable.
The offer is for a 15-2V6 claimed "excellent condition" with the 6" and 8" barrels and changing tool. The stock is rubber, and ugly, but I'll pull some cocobolo out of my lumber stash and wood-butcher up a nice one. This is a Monson plant w/the serial number right below "Monson, Mass". High viz front sight and adjustable target rear. Surface finish is glossy blue: pretty. Asking price is $500.
What do you think?

That's right in line w/ auction prices; if its local and you save shipping/ handling, I'd say get it. Just check this first:
Oh!, And welcome to the DWF!
