I'm having a couple of problems with a new Dan Wesson 715 and perhaps someone could provide me with some insight.
When I received the new revolver a few months ago I found that sometimes when pulling the trigger the action would jam (that being the trigger would not move) or the cylinder would not rotate yet the hammer would rise and fall. No problem, I sent the revolver back and the warranty paperwork said the hand spring was replaced.
When the revolver came back I examined the revolver I found that if I would slowly cock the hammer four of the six cylinders would not lock in place. I sent the revolver back a second time and the warranty paperwork said they replaced the hand.
Now the revolver is back from warranty for the second time and I am now back to the first problem in that the action will occasionally jam. That being the trigger will get "stuck" and not move to the rear. The problem of the hammer rising and falling has not happened. I have noticed the cylinder lockup is excellent.
Is there someplace other than the factory I should have this revolver repaired?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Can someone provide me with some insight into this problem and why it happens?
Thanks In Advance.

I would call them and ask them to replace this gun with one that has been test fired for proper function. After two warranty repairs, they need to replace it. I suggest you ask to speak to Keith Lawton and ask him to personally resolve this issue.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

+1 on what Steve said, after two trips back to the factory they should have test fired it to proof the repair IMO. Let us know what Keith says.
