Hi,
I own a DW 15-2 and have bought this some years ago, a complete kit. There is also a .22 barrel with it, I can add this barrel into the 6" .357 barrel. The only problem is ..... I don't have a cilinder for .22.
What is original used to fire .22LR in this revolver? A complete insert with 6 holes? Or 6 separated converters from .357 to .22?
Thanks in advance,
Ray

You cannot use a .22 barrel on the .357, the threads are different for safety reasons.
The Dan Wesson small frame IS NOT a switch caliber gun. I hope you were not misled to believe that it could be a multi caliber gun.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Do you mean the actual barrel tube screws into the frame or do you just have a barrel shroud marked 22LR ? The shrouds will interchange but as has been stated by others, the barrel tubes will not interchange. This was done for safety so that someone couldn't accidentally try to fire a 357 thru a 22 cal tube. Also, the firing pin is different for the rimfire guns.
A few pis will help us understand this better.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe it wasn't clear from me but:
i own a .357 with .357 barrels. The .22 barrel i have, doesn't have thread for the 357 frame. The .22 barrel can fit into a .357 barrel which I can screw into the frame.
situation is that i have a 357 frame with a .22 barrel (into the 357)
to buy another frame is no option for me, we are limited with the amount of weapons we own in the Netherlands, and a framme counts as a complete weapon according the Dutch law
ps i trie to post some pics this weekend

looks like someone had a serious head start. I would bet at some point there was an insert for the chambers. In fact didn't we see something like this recently, that someone had posted???? maybe in a 22mag.. forgetful nowadays, I am.
