Don't you guys love me? The new guy at least shakes things up and gives the older members something to yell at! Anyway I first bought this 44 mag barrel and it does not say Dan Wesson Arms but does say 44 mag CTG Early model? Then I bought this pork chop box and barrel (I don't have a pork chop yet) but the price was under $200 Are there different pork chop barrels or will this fit any pork chop?

WOW never noticed I just looked at my Palmer Supermags and you all are correct. I also noticed something else. My 445 is very low numbered. I found out after an exchange with Dan Wesson's grandson that all Palmer supermags serial numbers started at 501. He said that they left the numbers below 500 for special orders. I sold a Dan Wesson soft case on ebay and Dan's grandson Eric bought it from me. He was the one that alerted me about my low number supermag after I shared a pic with him.

As long as you did not buy the 44 mag BA for the 445, you're good. The 44 mag ejector rod port is too short for 445 ejector rod.
You can switch out the ejector rod for a large frame rod when you use the 44 shroud on a 445, or use it on a 44 mag. If you use it on a 445 you may have to pull the cases out (ouch) or push them out with a pencil. There is just the cartridge roll mark because of the ownership change and Dan Wesson Arms was not the name anymore. It became Wesson Firearms.
As far as porkchop shrouds being interchangable, in three words the answer is, yes and no.. MODEL 14 and 15 , from approximately serial number 10, 000 to 25,000, have model 11 and 12 style sights. The models 14-1 and 15-1 have lower front and rear sights and will not readily work on 14 and 15. The front sights will be too low and the gun will shoot high. You can't make them work without getting a taller from sight. EWK used to make a replacement I think. The roll pin needed to be knocked out and the new sight installed. The converse was a 14 or 15 shroud on a 14-1 or 15-1. It will shoot low but you can file the front sight down. A model 11 or 12 has the same sights as a 14 and 15. HOWEVER, the fixed sight models are too low for an adjustable sight gun. But an adjustable sight shroud can be filed down if a person is so inclined to ruin the shroud.
HS MKii and MK III are the same as the dash 1s. But they are roll marked with the model on the shroud.
I hope that is simply explaned👹
