Hello all, i have tried searching with no luck. is there anyone who has made or a company who currently makes a optic plate to replace the rear sight? a guy i hunt with has a freedom arms .454 and we ordered a plate to replace the rear sight and stuck a RMR on there. I like it and run red dots on my EDC guns. If i posted this in the wrong section feel free to let me know and i will delete the post! Thank you all -sky

There are plates for Ruger revolvers (Blackhawk, GP 100 etc) that *might work.... not certain that the profile would match up exactly, but worth a shot.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I have read that. I just didn’t know if there was one specifically. A gentleman I met through Facebook tried one and the rear sight slot worked but the front of the mount didn’t. I will attach photos. That plate he used was for a super Blackhawk from EWG. Wondering the if gp series plates would be any different?
