I have been thinking about this for a week and thought I would ask.

On my 15-2 the trigger stop screw in on the trigger itself, but on my 32-20 it is in the frame. These are both Monson guns, does anyone know when they changed the location?

Thanks,

Greg

There is no clear answer to this. The recessed chambers and "in the trigger" stop screw are indicators of earlier Monson 15-2's, but no one knows when the changes occurred

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks, since this one is in the 177xxx serial number range that makes it somewhere in the late 70's from what I can tell.  I wish we had a better history of changes in the models so we could figure it out better.

Someday, maybe it will all come to light!     Wait till you find a Dan with both stops!

Not to hijack this thread but it seems like the perfect place to ask, how do you adjust the trigger stop that is mounted in the frame?

You have to take the sideplate off to get to the frame mounted type,

adjustment is then made with an allen wrench.
