This is a link to a W12 on GB. In picture #14 what is a prospective buyer looking for in this shot? Is there a good/bad sign that could show up? I have noticed this shot on lots of DWs for auction. Just wondering!

Pics 13 & 14 are both there to show how much or how little the gun has been fired & also gives you an idea if it's been cleaned much. IMO, this gun doesn't appear to have been fired much & has been cleaned afterward. Although it doesn't look like the barrel was unscrewed when it was cleaned.
I wish all sellers would take those two pics, it really helps a buyer to see it's condition...especially since a lot of sellers idea of a "clean gun" can vary so widely.

CF if they cleaned them I wouldn't get the some of the scores I have come up with. Though agreed it is something to get one in and it is filthy. 13 & 14 would and is something I look at when handling one.
Shoot, Not sure a 357 mag would flame cut much unless hot rounds have been ran through it or on a Dan maybe more if gape was not set!
I do look to see how many scrapes from the ejector show!
