A few years ago I sent out my 722 and had them fit it for a magnum cylinder. I have kept the magnum cylinder in it, but was thinking I would shoot some .22lr out of it. The problem is it has been so long since I have messed with this, I forgot what I need to do to even shoot the 22lr. I have another cylinder with the gun that doesn’t have the M stamp on it. I am guessing it is my 22lr cylinder. It also has the little timing ear thing which I guess I have to change if I swap the cylinder to keep it in the correct time for the other cylinder. All of the above I am guessing at. I am pretty sure I can not just put the 22lr in the 22mag cylinder right? Or I mean it wouldn’t be a good idea to try to shoot it. I would think I could physically put it in there…

Ok I figured it out. I replaced both the magnum cylinder and the arm that rotates the cylinder that had an M stamped on it. I put the blued 22lr cylinder in with the blued arm that was in the same ziplock baggy that came when Bob did the work for me. Seems to be working perfectly.
