Well I took my new to me Mdl. 15 DW with 6" barrel to the range today and to tell the truth I'm not that happy.
Before going I cleaned it real good and lightly oiled it, checked the barrel gap(.007), the first 6 shots were good and close enought to the 10 ring to make me happy but after that it all went down hill, during the next cylinder full I got 2 FTF's both were light strikes and after that it got even worse, 3 light strikes and shot placment all over the target at 15 yards(my normal shooting distance). the Barrel was tight and the sights are too. I shoot a lot of .45 acp and .357 so I was not worried about recoil (which on this was not bad at all).
So any ideas?
I'm going to give her a deep cleaning and see what happens next time.
I do like the feel of this gun and just want it to be dependable and more accurate.
