Almost every sight set I've seen has a fiber optic front sight and a flat-black rear sight, so the focus is correctly on the front. Do you mean a red-dot optic?

Depending on the rear sight elevation screw placement, a Williams fire sight for a Ruger GP100/ SBH will work.  Then an EWK FO front sight and you're set.....

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Oh, I didn't know it was the same one.  I got one for my other 15-2.  With the front one from EWK it's really easy to see inside.  Thanks!

Depending on when your large frame was made will enable the Williams rear sight to fit. Newer guns have the rear sight elevation screw more to the rear and the Williams will not fit. IIRC. Same with the large frame Millett I think.

Who said he was target shooting or asked for a recommendation for target sights???  He asked for a fiber optic rear sight alternative.  So, I gave him one.  I think you're reading too far into his original and successive posts...

In the fine gentlemen's defense, I was in fact looking for fiber optic rest sights to go with my ewk fiber optic front ones.  I bought the Williams ones for my 15-2 and they work great, especially inside at the range.   I just didn't think that they would fit a large frame as well.   Mine is a monson one. I'm not sure of the placement of the screw.  I suppose I'll have to figure it out. 😊

Although.  I am in fact target shooting.  Do you think leaving the rear sight alone with the ewk fronts work better ?
