I recently purchased a DW .22 revolver which has some finish issues. I dont have gun in hand yet, so I dont know the real extent. Would you reblue, refinish or leave as is assuming the job would be done well?

Assuming you could rely on the job to be done well, yes I would probably go with a reblue. A Dan Wesson .22 isn't really so rare that a high quality reblue would hurt any collector value. Just my opinion.
You might want to consider Blue Ridge Bluing. I do not have anything done by them yet but I have a barrel shroud there now anxious to see how it turns out.

If you reblue with Blue Ridge (Mark was a DW Factory bluer) your DW remains Factory Original, IMO. In addition, he can handle minor repairs and does have a supply of parts.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I picked up the gun today and it is really in far, far better condition than I had thought it might be!
I'll post some pictures as soon as I can take them in some good light.
Thanks for the replies and the excellent recommendations.

I had a perfectly good 15-2 refinished in bright nickel, simply because I wanted one. The refinish cost pretty near what the gun cost, and it's worth it.
It's what I wanted, I'm happy, Done Deal!
