Good Morning Guys,
I'm sure some of you guys are falling out of your seats right now! I honestly don't know what happened to November, December and January! Juggling work (60+ hours a week) and family have left me little time for extra-curricular activities!
For my mental health I wanted to take a few minutes this morning spend some time here and share a few recent finds. Back around Thanksgiving I went into a little gun show near my hometown where I have picked up some DW stuff before. The owner had place 3 of the soft cases in a bend two were NOS because they still had the little cardboard barrel assembly pick in them which I had never seen before and the third may have never been used but there is some spotting on the fabric inside. If anyone is interested in one of this let me know... I'm going to pass one along as a Karma shortly.
Recently I put an ad in my gun club newsletter that I was interested in purchasing DW's and accessories. The ad has run for several months now. I got a call from a guy a while back with a 15-2 pistol pack but he wanted $1300 for it. Needless to say I passed on this one and didn't even go look at it.
Another gentlemen call back in January and again another 15-2 pack. I explained that I was really looking for large frame stuff or harder to find small frames. I said but just out of curiosity how much are you asking? He said he would take $400 and I said I guess I can come take a look... My wife had an appointment that evening but fortunately my mother-in-law was at our house so I able to run across town and pick this one up. There is some wear on it here and there but hey for $400 couldn't pass it up!
I'm not going to make any promises but I'm going to try to make more of a presents going forward! Hope everyone is doing well!

I guess I am not the only one that the last few months have been a blur! The soft cases are sweet, but that pac is definitely ! Glad you were able to get it!!!

To be honest I was a little... buy since I didn't have a 15-2 pack and I plan on keeping it I was able to justify it!

Was those soft cases the same show location you snagged the 22 pack a few years back ?

You're memory is better than mine! I did pick up 2 722 assemblies there along with a 741 assembly that I passed along to Jaggman and a 4" 44 tube that I kept because it wasn't ported to use instead of the ported one I had.
They guy has a huge box of DW grips but they are beat up some. I was hoping to score a deal on the lot to pass on to LB so that he could use the medallions but he wants $30 each! I would have went $10 each... next time I'll drop in again and check things out and maybe he'll come down.
