Blueridge, sadly, no longer has an FFL, so shipping to them is an issue. I've also had Ford Guns recommended for reblueing. Some mentioned a vendor in NY, I believe.
Any recommendations from personal experience?

hotbluer became Blue Ridge, and Mark Waldo (the original hotbluer) did not appear to be closely involved in Blue Ridge operations.
Based purely on recommendation and feedback on other forums, if I needed bluing, I would use Ford's.
Keith at DW in Norwich might also offer some guidance.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

What has happened to hotbluer who is a member here and used to do bluing for DW? Is he still around and doing the job?-Mike
I believe that was Blueridge from what I've been told. He is still willing to do the work, but doesn't have an FFL, so shipping is a problem.

EWK may do frame reblueing. I am sure he would reblue shrouds.
I was wondering about this. Obviously he can do blueing but I was wondering if he would do a whole gun. I'll have to ask.
