I just purchased a DW 744 Monson, MA. My local gunny is ultrasonic cleaning the internals because I noticed some sluggish timing. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a gunsmith who specializes in DW revolvers. Grant Cunningham is no longer working on DW's. Thanks!

Others may have more info on this, but I think CZ/Dan Wesson will work on it for you. My local gunsmith has worked on them (not any of mine), but he is so backed up he is not accepting ANY new work for 30 days, he's loaded up with AR work right now. A good cleaning should help a lot, and the DW action is pretty straightforward, your guy may be able to handle everything with parts support from CZ.

I did an extensive search a few months ago and got only 2 positive replys for DW revolvers; Matt@RevolverArmorer.com and C&S repair which is backed up 8mos. they gave me a toll free # 1-800-448-1713 to get on the waiting list. If anybody knows any others; please list for the rest of us, thanks.
