Does anyone here know what the specs as far as head space, end shake, etc are for a model 15 revolver?
I know there are generic standards but different designs can vary significantly. For example acceptable end shake is very different between a S&W and Ruger revolver.
I ran about 200 rounds through it yesterday, half single action and half double action. Single action was flawless but I had three light primer strikes double action. I went through it good last night and gave it a good clean up and polish on the action. Parts of the internal frame were pretty rough especially where the hammer rides. I have approximately .005″ head space and .003″ end shake.
Thanks

Not sure if DW sells the Hammer spring to individual, may have to go through a FFL for that part. That is a common problem on some of these guns when previous owners would try to lighten trigger pull, they are about as light as possible from factory.
I tried a redused power spring from Wolff Springs and got light strikes on DA and put my stock spring back in place and problem went away. Wasted about $20 tying what is common with S&W revolvers, I guess it was a cheaper lesson then most of them I had over my 60+ years.
