I don't think they still make them but tons are available on eBay. Gunbroker etc.

I think there are two types of Pachmyers presentation grips. The regular hard ones and model called decelerators. They have a hollow tube core.

The 'decelerators' I have all fit kind of loose on the gun and wiggle a little.  I prefer the regular version.  With any rubber grip, I've never felt recoil was anywhere as harsh as with solid wood.

Here's a link to Hogue's Dan Wesson large frame exotic woods site.  Choose your wood and find the grip you like.

Ort, contact LB @ LB Custom Grips (lbcustomgrips.com) I have many grips from both sources.  LB's are nicer in general IMO.

Oops!  Sometimes my dyslexia makes me respond inappropriately. I missed the fact that you want rubber. Sorry.

Pachmayr doesn't make grips for Dan Wessons any more, buuuutttt years ago I lamented to a gunsmith friend that there were no Pachmayr Grippers for the large frame DWs. He suggested I get a pair for the small frame and drill out the mounting hole to the proper size. Worked like a champ. If you can find someone who has a Gripper they're willing to part with that is an option. You just have to watch your depth. Oh yeah, don't ask me what size drill bit I don't have the gun and I'm too old to remember.

This can be done, but you gotta find a Gripper, and be careful with the conversion.

Repeat-you need to find a Gripper, it can be done, all it takes is Time and Money

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

got a set of these yesterday and I don't think I'm gonna like them. The gun suddenly feels much more muzzle heavy with these.  Not yet fired with them so the jury is still out, but...................it ain't looking too good

Pachmayr no longer makes rubber grips for Dan Wesson revolvers, but many are still available used from online auction sites.

Here's a set of Pachmayr grips, on a large frame revolver. (7445 Supermag)

These grips will also fit the 44 Magnum.

There is an auction up on Gunbroker right now for a pair of large frame Pachmayr rubber grips starting at $25 bucks or so. If you also keep an eye on E-bay, you will likely locate a pair eventually.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=462413012

The Pachmayr grips may even be period correct for some older Dan's. Rarely a pair of rubber Pachmayr grips pops up with DW medallions - Like the large frame grip in the image below.

I would jump on a pair of rubber Pach's with DW medallions if I ever saw em for sale in a heart beat.

The small frame Pachmayr grips are somewhat more common. I have a pair of Pach grippers that came with my small frame 357 Magnum that have no medallions on the sides.

This style was much more common, and you used to see them quite often in the grip bin at gun shows.

The current small frame revolver grips shipped on new production Dan Wessons from CZ-USA are Hogue grips. They have the DW logo on one side molded into the rubber.

I have since removed all of my old Pachmayr grips from my small and large frame Dan Wesson's. I only hang onto the Pachmayr grips as mementos, and an interesting piece of history. I've changed all my guns over to Hogue rubber finger groove grips. I just like the way the Hogue grips feel much better.

Feel is a very personal thing, and I don't expect everyone to feel the same way as I do.

Hope all the information helps somewhat.

+1 on the Hogue rubber grips. I like the Pachmayr's a lot, but the Hogue is even better.
