CF - ANOTHER beauty! I really like the grip and it's obviously perfect on that HS.
The cousins picture is great - real subtle difference in the frames (at the hammer). The HS looks just a touch more "sleek"...uh, if we can actually use that word on a pork chop...
Another great acquisition - congrats!

Waldo, I'm sure glad I got it too! On one hand, it would have been way cool if you were able to get it for his asking price & left me still looking for one...but I'm sure not complaning about it ending up the way it did.
Dusty, Thanks! 😀 I tried to get a decent shot of the rear sights between the cousins for a comparison, but my camera didn't want to cooperate. I'll try it again later. The HS rear sight looks like the later Model 14-2...and also like my little Colt Snubby. Pretty interesting, IMO.
LB, it sure is raining 'Chops lately, huh? It seems like it was only a few months ago that someone posted the very first one (i think in the Post your Pics thread). Since then, it seems to be snowballing! I sure feel fortunate to be able to grab some of these neat old guns when I can.

Well Charger it actually worked out for me by passing on the gun. About a year ago a fried talked me out of my S&W 1086 that was like new and I've regretted that every sense. Well the next day after seeing the HS he tells me he will sell the 1086 back to me for cash, no trading.
Though I could have bought the gun for $250 OTD it just really wasn't to be and I wasn't upset except for how cheap it was and that the last collectable HG I bought was almost three times as much.
Enjoy that shooter man, I would have for sure.
