I bought a barrel and a shroud of an individual from a different forum. The shroud is drilled and tapped for a mount. The only problem is, is the guy I bought it from has no idea what base was used. I really want to get this gun setup for hunting and scope it. I was hoping I could post a pic and someone may know. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

I can tell you from the appearance, it is probably a two piece base from weaver, and that you should be able to use any flat mount--possibly a Win 94 flat top.

Take the shroud to any gunstore and start matching up weavers with flat bases...once you find a set of screw holes that match up, pull out your wallet laugh.

If all else fails, order a full length blank of weaver rail from brownells, cut it to length, and have it drilled to match your shroud.

Went to Gander Mountain today to try and find a base and had no luck. Went through 30-40 of them. Gonna have to get it redrilled and tapped.
