Bullwolf, Thanks for the pics and info...I'm pretty sure your 8" is one I worked on, if the actual length of the barrel tube is shorter than 8"...that one had the end all chewed up, so cut it down and made it into an "optics only" setup.
Pete, Thanks for taking the time to take the pictures and dimensions! Something isn't adding up, on the model 15 shroud, it should be more around .280"ish from the top of the shroud, to the barrel tube hole. I'll reply to your PM with possible options of what we can do! Yep, over here by Weirton, WV, more than hour from you, more like an hour and a half, but then I'm not a fast driver!

Thanks Eric, I pm you and noted barrel tubes were in shrouds w measuring. I figured
would be more accurate from top of inside barrel tubes to top of shrouds. ??

Took some measurements of my 8 inch Monson scoped 357 shroud. Pardon my low quality pics.
The barrel tube is exactly 8 inches long, from forcing cone to muzzle threads
Barrel shroud is 7¼ inches long
Front muzzle view, no front sight provision. Top & front face of shroud have a bead blasted finish.
I'm pretty sure I've seen scope only barrel shrouds before in large frame hunter pacs, but I've never seen a small frame 2 barrel hunter pac. Dan Wesson did a lot of weird custom setups though, so just about anything was possible.
I've always thought that this 8 inch scope only shroud was a little odd. I picked it up from a GB auction a few years ago, with the mount already installed. Someone did a real nice job on it.

Just wanted to give a "shout out" for EWK. I check email yesterday and had a order comf. from EKW ?
PM Eric assuming he made a new sight for me and he did, but I did not order it. He responded back and
said exactly that. Sure is good to know that SOME people care about cust. service and quality, still today.

Erik is a pretty busy machine/shop tool maker, he does NOT make a living from EWK Arms.
We're pretty lucky that he can fit us into making a living, the EWK name is known well beyond DWF.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

What I would do is just sign up to be notified when it's back in stock. They seem to magically appear in stock and after a day or so, I will get an email from EWK. We are so lucky to have him as a resource.
