Hello all. Hope everyone is doing well. I just bought my first DW. I've been wanting one for over 30 years. Got it today at a gun show. I feel like a kid at Christmas. It's a 3 barrel W12 .357 set. I love it! Just need some help with production year. The only number I can find - aside from the W12 on the side - is 422 stamped inside and under the cylinder arm. Hope that makes sense. Any help on when my DW was made would be great. Thanks in advance.

Regarding your questions, the number you found stamped into the frame under the crane is indeed the serial number. And your gun was built in 1970. Did it also come with the case?
