Anyone have problems with their model 15 or 44 consistently shooting high? The 44 really is not bad but the 15 shoots about 6-8" high at 25yd. It gets progressively slightly better as I change to shorter barrels. I have a pistol pac with 2,4,6&8" barrels. The 44 is 8" and will sight in ok at 50yd using a 6 o-clock hold.Any suggestions appreciated.

I have seen different height front sights. Have you checked that all front sights are identical? Also, I had a similar problem with a 722 that would shoot high even with the rear all the way down. The Millet Target rear sight has a lower profile and dropped POA/POI right into place.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have exactly the same problem.
DW Instruction booklet shows the POA for a target pistol as bottom of second ring: https://www.danwessonforum.com/wp-content/uploads/DW%20Brochure.PDF
So it is designed to shoot 1.5 - 2" high, but not 6 - 8"!
I have my rear sight bottomed out as well and am going to detail it tonight.
Has anyone else seen this problem on 15-2's?

savoy- I know a lot of shooters do not like Ebay, because of their "anti gun" stance, but I have found many DW accessory items (grips, barrel wrenches, front sights, Millet target sights, etc) there. I have also gotten some Browning Buckmark grips there at real good price.
