So I'm waiting on getting my new-to-me 15-2 and 22 out of CA gun jail and have had a thought. It would seem that the shrouds should be interchangeable between frames so all I should need to achieve the desired 8" barrel for my 22 is a new barrel and the 15-2 shroud. Is this right? I lack the frames at this moment to check my supposition, so any input is welcome.
If I had my dream of dreams, I'd get ahold of a couple of 8" EH shrouds in order to outfit these guns for their designed purpose as NRA 2700/bullseye guns. No chance anyone has a couple just laying around is there?
These are my first DW guns so I'll welcome suggestions for anything else I should ruminate on while waiting to get them in hand.

Yes they are freely interchangeable. I have pretty much given up on ever finding a Monson 6VH shroud for my 722, but I do have a 22 barrel. So when I want to shoot .22 in 6 inch, I use the shroud from my 715 (.357 Mag).
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hey Welcome if I missed your first post and yes the shrouds on small frame Dan's will interchange! THe EH's are sold out so not sure anyone would part with them! I see them as collector shrouds. (but that may be just me). Keep an eye on GB they come up now and again! (not EH's)
