I have a neighbor who says he has a DW .357 single action. Is there such an animal?

I don't know the answer, but all Dan Wesson double action pistols are also Single Action.  You can operate them in either mode.

They did make some single action only models for silhouette shooting. I am not sure what models or how many though.

The 22-VH10 and 722-VH10 were single-action operation only.

Thanx to all who responded. What is a DW 357 single action worth in excellent condition?

There is no real way to value the gun other then to check the autions, and I have never seen one on one of the auction sites.  My guess is low side of $500 to as much as $1500 all depending on condition of gun, if it has original box or case & papers, any provnance such as awards it won in competition, photo's or letters from the manufacture or owner of the company that go with the gun and that sort of thing.

In other words what ever you are comfortable paying for the gun.
