I shot my new ( I mean new) DW 15-2 at a bullseye match last week. The single action pull was good but the double action pull was stout and definatly shifted the groups. We weighed the trigger after the match and it was 12lbs +.
Is this about normal?
I ordered the spring pack from Wolf in the hope it would ease the load a fair bit. Any info on how to change the springs would be helpfull.
Thanks

The Wolf spring kit came in and I replaced the hammer (used the 7.5lb) and trigger return springs last night. Easy to do expect for having to work two springs at once. Anyway the double action pull is much better. I'll check the pull weights next time I'm near a tool. I'll guess - 8lbs maybe?

I just did a quick "survey". On 4 different small frame DW's SA was 1.8-2.5#, DA was 7.5-9.8#.
The one of mine that has had professional work done was the lower of the ranges above.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
