Good to hear, the piggy bank gets heavier every day.
Once the .357 is done shouldn't take much to make a .22, a .17, a .327. . .
How about a 10MM? Anyone tried that in a small DW cylinder?
Been telling Keith about wanting 10mm for several years, keeps telling me not to hold my breath. I will be glad when he gets finished with the custom RZ10 he's doing for me, I may have to break out one of my Colt DE's I have laid back for grandsons. The weather has changed and it's like mid October here.

I never hold my breath where new guns are concerned, if you like Dan Wessons and Rugers like I do, you could be mistaken for a Smurf.
Yeah, last Saturday it was 95 here, Sunday we had violent thundestorms and Monday it was in the 60s for the high and since then it has been in the 50s at night. Good sleeping weather.

I'm guessing your talking about super mags or IHMSA shrouds on DW's. I need a to take a good picture of my IHMSA M-15, it's like new gun. I was going to go shoot today but the 30 mph wind we had all day put end of that idea.

DW is very busy because it has been expanding, new building additions, hiring and training new people, and in general being very busy. So the new 715's are coming, it's just a case of Corprate CZ jumping the gun so to speak.
I have been giving serious thoughts to selling my very low round count, like new 715 V8 with box and papers and ordering a new model. But just haven't been able to talk myself into letting the beauty go as of yet.

My son's got a very close friend that works at the gun section at a Cabelas and he told my son that the CZ rep was at the store with one of the new 715's and the store placed an order for some, he didn't know the cost as it was part of a large order from CZ. So at least one store will have some 715's this fall.

I'll be patient for a while longer, but the Ruger Bisley .44 Flattop is calling my name, if I am going to get a new revolver in time to enjoy it this fall it may be the Ruger instead of the 715.
At least you didn't say S&W, so there is hope for you.

Just wait until they start hitting the used market. $1269 MSRP will discount down to about $800-900, trade in for $300-400, resell for $500-600, and I'll then still be willing to buy the original "real" one for less than that.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

In 2008 I had the money for any reasonable new gun and I wanted a new revolver. I looked at and handled a S&W 627 and 625 at a local shop and bought a Springfield Armory Light Weight Champion 1911. It has been a good gun, but it is not a gun I want to take to the range and punch paper with, so the revolver itch is still there.
A year at 90% pay and very small raises since have eaten into that money, but with luck this fall I wil have a Ruger .44 or a Dan Wesson .357, whichever one I can find.

Rumor has it that the first production gun is reserved for Jimmy Hoffa, once he picks his up, they'll be available to the general public.
