Do you mean a side plate screw? If so, EWK has a parts kit that has both sideplate screws in it, and all the springs etc too. The kit is a good idea to have anyway for other spare parts just in case you ever need anything else. I am not sure if it cover model 12 though, I would contact him first. The screws should also still be available straight from Dan Wesson.

Yes, the model 12 screws are different than the later guns. I would measure the threads for ya, but lent my thread gauge to the guy down the street 2 years ago...he has since moved to Idaho. I guess I should probably buy another one. (Confucious say; don't lend out tools, fool)
Anyway, the 12 screw is on the bottom in this pic, a 15-2 is on the top.
If you unscrew your other side plate screw, & take it to a hardware store, you may be able to find a decent match. I think it's 1/4 NC, but don't recall for sure.

Thanks for that, yes, the screws are different from the Model 15, the EWK kit ones don't work, as noted. I'm going to do the hardware store trip next, and find a bigger hammer to hit myself with for losing the first one. In the photo it looks as tho the lower screw has a shoulder on it, that's gong to make things interesting. Is the upper frame screw the same as the lower ?
Confucious was dead on correct about loaning tools, too.

Yes, the upper & lower screws will have the same thread size. The only difference is length. If you can find a shouldered screw, that would be ideal, but not imperative. The side plate fits snug enough that the shoulder isn't completely necessary to hold it straight. I assume that's why they did away with the shoulder on later models.

I sent an email to Fusion Firearms and got a message back from Bob Serva saying he might have some of these screws. Boy howdy, I will be one happy camper if so.
Next question is about the rear sight on my DW .41 mag, but I'll wait on that one.
Thanks for the help, Chargers Fan, I sure appreciate it.
