I'm having so much fun working on some combat style shooting with my 4", I want to get a couple of speedloaders, and a holster. Which of the S&W "letter" frames is equivalent to my Model 15 .357 4"? Which speedloader? Thanks for any help.
BTW, we will have a new member coming on board soon. I'm giving my son my original, one owner DW .357 for his birthday. He has lusted for it for years, now it's his, and he is psyched!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

How do you feel about adopting another one? My birthday is coming up and there's this stainless Dan Wesson in 44 mag that I really, really want…………
Anyway, your Model 15 is the same as the K frame Model 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 64, 66, 67, as well as Taurus 606, 65, 66, 80 and 82 plus the Rossi 84, 971, 951, and 851.
The number on my speed loaders is 10 A but I don't remember the brand.
The Dan Wesson 44 is the same as the S&W 29, 629, the Ruger Redhawk, Colt Anaconda, and Taurus M44 and Raging Bull. The number on the speedloader is 29M.
Hope this helps, I'll be looking for the birthday present in the mail……LOL

Dan-
Thanks for the info, exactly what I was looking for. The speedloaders I see are (I think) HKS brands. Regarding that SS .44 mag, the Electric Light Orchestra said it best in their song "Hold on to Your Dreams".

I shoot my DW Model 715 in IDPA. I use Safariland Comp III speedloaders (S&W K-frame size). As they are spring loaded, they are much faster on reloads than HKS speedloaders. If you can afford to add the “loading block/tray” you’ll find it much easier to reload each speedloader and simplify your time at the range.
I’m still trying to find a grip I like. I have relatively small hands and have tried the standard DW grips, Hogue wood grips and Pachmayr rubber (on the gun now). I’d like something more like a “combat” grip with more meat in the palm area and support for my pinky finger.

Matt-
Have you considered buying a wood grip somewhere (eBay?) and carving it to fit what you want? At one time the Pistol Pak included a wood block roughly shaped and inletted, to allow you carve your own.
