For fit? Any that fit S&W K frames (Mods. 19, 66 15, 10 etc.). How are you going to use it? Is this for concealed carry? You might look at a speed strip, they hide well but are slower on the reload. The round style (HKS, Safariland) are a little harder to hide but faster. Is this for competition? If so check out what the competitors are using and ask their opinion, they'll be glad to help.

Now to answer your question directly. Which is best? Whatever works for you and your gun. That sounds silly I know but that's the best answer. What works for me or Jimmy or Mary or Jose down the street may not be to your liking or meet your needs. I don't use one at all. I carry an extra mag when I feel I need it.

Hope this helps.

I like the HKS 10 or 10A. Essentially the same loader but with a choice of fixed rigidly or slightly loose retention.

I know lots prefer the push button type as opposed to the revolving knob of the HKS ones but the way I reload I'm still holding the opened cylinder with the left hand, so turning the knob is nowhere as problematic as it would be with a rear latching gun.

I've used the HKS and the Safariland.  I prefer the Safariland because you just push a button and the cartridges just drop into the cylinder.   It is a little faster than having to turn the knob.  As mentioned the HKS requires the knob to be turned and in order to do that the cylinder needs to be held in place.

I guess it just depends how much speed you need.big-grin
