Hi all,

I am looking for a speed loader for my 715-VH6 revolver.

I did some research on internet and figured out that the Safariland J-K2C and the 10-A by HKS could do the job. Does anyone have experience with one of these two?

Thanks, Sam. cool

I've used the HKS speedloaders and they work fine on the DW 15/715 guns that I own.

if you find one...what's your plan?

I find the 10A particularly suited to the DW revolvers because of the catch position.

If you carry the speedloaders at the 1 or 2 o' clock position you can unlatch the cylinder & open/eject the fired brass left handed while pulling the speedloader right-handed. Then you grasp the open, empty cylinder with the left & Insert & twist the reloads with the right.

I have about a dozen of the Safariland J-K2C and the loading block as well and have never had an issue.  I like how they are a simply 'push' to disengage the lock, versus the twist of the HKS.

Years ago, when I last carried a revolver, I had speed loader which had a ring around them.  Drop the front of the rounds into the cylinder, then push the ring down the loader and the rounds would be pushed into their chambers.  It was faster than the gravity-drop style, and you could be certain that your ammo was in place.
