Of course prices are subjective but if all is good with the pac and all is there. I would say at today's rates I would say it sounds like a good deal. You have to decide what it is worth to you in the end. Either way good luck and let us know the outcome.

I dunno...I'd say that if it were under $1,000, that would be considered (based on Jody "killer deal" purchase prices). I think that $1,200 is on the low end of fair market value though, and $1,500 would be on the upper end. So yes, it sounds like a good deal to me, as long as the Pac ends up beinn as clean as described.

A couple of months ago a 744 pac with for $3100 on gunbroker. This particular one didn't even have an original case. For the life of me I can't figure out why that one went so high! My NIB Norwich with 3 new barrels maxed out at $1650!
I think $1200 is a good deal. A 744 pistol pac while not uncommon you don't see them often. If it's something you want and I would say go for it.

SMF,
Actually, the more I think about it, the more your initial reaction is probably correct.
I forgot to add in my earlier post (had to hurry for work) that my price guess is based on what seems to be the trend of lower prices that's been happening lately. However Jody does make a good point that the 744 Pac's aren't nearly as common...so the more I think about it, the better that price sounds.
