So I recently acquired my first D.W. a stainless 744. In my background in industrial and automotive applications I have always used an anti-seize lubricant on stainless steel fasteners and threads to prevent galling. Would this practice be a good idea on the barrel threads? I know a little goes a long way so I'm not talking about gooping a bunch on and making a mess, just a small amount of anti-seize. What do you guys use?

The Bronze colored Never seize & a drop of 3-in-1 electric motor oil. I work it into the threads at both ends then spin the barren & nut on & off a couple of times to schmear it evenly 7 wipe off the excess.

I didn't know how to use it.”
